INNOVATIVE FINANCIAL ENGINEERING TOOLS FOR MOBILIZING AGRICULTURAL CAPITAL
Abstract
The agricultural sector of Ukraine is a strategic industry that generates a significant part of GDP and export earnings. However, its development is constrained by a shortage of financial resources, limited access to bank loans, high cost of loans and low investment attractiveness. Traditional forms of financing – classic bank loans, state subsidies – no longer meet the needs of the industry. In such difficult market conditions, the use of innovative financial engineering tools comes to the fore, which allow mobilizing capital, diversifying sources of financing and increasing the sustainability of agrarian business. The article highlights the role of innovative financial engineering instruments in the process of agricultural capital formation. Modern financial mechanisms that allow agricultural enterprises to attract investments, minimize risks and increase competitiveness are analyzed. Traditional and innovative agribusiness financing instruments are compared. It is shown that the use of derivative financial instruments, venture and project financing, agricultural receipts and insurance products contributes to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector and integration in the global market environment. Innovative financial engineering tools are the key to effective mobilization of agricultural capital in Ukraine, which allow: diversifying sources of financing; reducing financial and production risks; stimulating the development of innovative technologies in agriculture; integrating Ukrainian agribusiness into the global financial space. Further development of the agricultural sector requires active participation of the state in stimulating these tools, creating a favorable institutional environment, and expanding access of small and medium-sized farmers to financial resources.It is proven that innovative financial engineering instruments play a strategic role in the development of the agricultural sector. They not only provide access to investment resources, but also create mechanisms for protecting against risks, contribute to the modernization of production and increasing its efficiency. The use of these instruments is a key factor in the formation of competitive agricultural capital in the context of globalization and digital transformation of the economy.
