WAREHOUSES FOR AGRIBUSINESS AS AN INFRASTRUCTURE BASIS OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC LOGISTICS AND NICHE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Abstract
The article examines theoretical and applied aspects of organizing foreign economic logistics activities of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine operating in difficult conditions of martial law and global economic challenges. The agricultural sector, being a strategic link of the national economy, provides foreign exchange earnings, food security and social stability in rural regions. Despite significant difficulties, the agricultural business is actively adapting to changes, developing alternative export routes, diversifying sales markets, introducing modern agricultural technologies and creating its own transport and logistics capacities. Particular attention is paid to the infrastructure support of agricultural logistics, in particular the functioning of specialized warehouses. It is determined that modern warehouses perform not only the function of storing products, but also provide post-harvest conservation, sorting, packaging and primary processing, which makes it possible to increase the added value of products and reduce dependence on third-party services. The need for the development of multi-temperature storages, granaries and cold storages integrated with transport hubs is substantiated. The study focuses on the problems of organizing international logistics: blocking seaports, incompatibility of railway tracks with European standards, increasing transport costs, fuel shortages, which significantly complicates export operations. At the same time, the role of agro-logistics hubs as an innovative form of cooperation of small and medium-sized enterprises that are able to optimize product distribution, strengthen partnerships and ensure integration into global supply chains is emphasized. It is concluded that the development of logistics infrastructure, primarily warehouses, is a determining factor in increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector in international markets. Further scientific research should be focused on the formation of effective logistics and marketing strategies, as well as on finding ways to cooperate with the construction industry to develop modern logistics centers in Ukraine.
