DEVELOPMENT FACTORS OF TRANSPORT PART OF EUROPEAN UNION AGRICULTIRAL MARKET INFRASTRUCTURE
Abstract
The article deals with the functioning of the transport infrastructure of the EU agricultural market, with further projection onto the development of transport infrastructure in the domestic agricultural market. It emphasizes that transport infrastructure, along with biological, environmental, and regulatory factors, is an extremely important driver for the development of the agricultural market. The transport infrastructure of the agricultural market consists of interconnected road, rail, air, and maritime transport systems, which facilitate both domestic distribution and international trade. The article notes that advanced logistics and supply chain management methods, including digital platforms and real-time tracking, help optimize inventory, reduce losses, and manage seasonal fluctuations in the agricultural market. An effective transport and logistics infrastructure requires the delivery of the right agricultural product, in the right quantity, in the right condition, to the right place, at the right time, and at the right price, which positively affects the success of supply chain partners and the competitiveness of each participant. The transport and logistics infrastructure of the EU agricultural market consists of diverse elements covering transport networks, logistics centers, information technologies, and integration mechanisms between different modes of transportation. Its main tasks are to optimize delivery processes, preserve product quality, and maintain the agricultural sector's competitiveness. It has been established that the development of the transport component of the agricultural market infrastructure requires an integrated approach that combines investments, innovative technologies, and a favorable regulatory environment. The key factors for the development of the transport component of agricultural market infrastructure include: investments in infrastructure, technological innovations and digitalization, regulatory and political support in the EU, sustainability and efficiency, integration and optimization, and integration into global supply chains.
