FORMATION OF INVESTMENT RESOURCES FOR IMPROVING LOGISTICS INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE BASIS OF SUSTAINABILITY IN THE CONTEXT OF INNOVATIVE REGENERATION OF BORDER REGIONS
Abstract
The aim of the article is to identify the features and approaches to forming an investment resource for the restoration and improvement of logistics infrastructure based on the principles of sustainability in the context of the innovative recovery of Ukraine’s border regions. The relevance of the research topic is driven by the need to rebuild and modernize the logistics systems of these areas, taking into account innovative approaches to achieve economic, social, and environmental efficiency in their functioning. The research employs methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, induction, deduction, abstraction, concretization, historical-logical and graphical approaches, among others. The current state of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions is characterized, and their features in comparison with other regions of Ukraine are identified. The necessity of innovative restoring the logistics infrastructure of these regions on the principles of sustainability is substantiated. Key directions of innovative renewal of the logistics infrastructure of Ukraine’s border regions are described. The issue of attracting investment for the implementation of logistics infrastructure renewal projects in the border regions is explored. The main sources of funding for such projects are identified. Approaches to stimulate investment activity in the context of implementing innovative reconstruction projects of logistics systems in Ukraine’s border regions are provided. It is concluded that the activation of investment support processes for projects aimed at improving the logistics infrastructure in the context of the innovative recovery of Ukraine’s border regions requires a comprehensive approach. The key areas of this approach include: support for applied scientific research and international cooperation in the field of logistics; development of public-private partnerships as a mechanism for joint financing of innovative projects; creation of a favorable institutional environment to expand the range of investors; implementation of effective incentives, including financial and regulatory measures.
