METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES IN THE ACTIVITIES OF IT ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article examines modern approaches to implementing innovation strategies in the activities of IT enterprises in the context of digital transformation, global competition and high market turbulence. The relevance of the study is due to the need for a systematic update of management models taking into account the specifics of the IT industry, as well as the need to form holistic methodological principles that ensure effective innovation dynamics and long-term competitiveness of enterprises. The author conducts a critical analysis of scientific sources using the PRISMA methodology, summarizing the achievements of modern research on strategic planning of innovations, dynamic capabilities, open innovation, co-creation and management of social niches. In particular, the model of dynamic capabilities (sensing, seizing, transforming) in combination with IT flexibility is considered as a key factor in the strategic adaptability of digital business. Particular attention is paid to the transition from a closed to an open innovation model, described as a process of three phases: thawing, relocation and institutionalization, as well as to a practical tool – a portfolio approach to innovation, which allows for an optimal balance between radical and gradual projects. The strategy of co-creation of value is considered as the basis for rapid adaptation of the product to the real needs of customers, taking into account cross-functional interaction. The article emphasizes the importance of social niches as an environment for the development of radical innovations capable of transforming the industry. Two approaches – Strategic Niche Management and PROTEE – are analyzed as tools for managing innovation processes in complex socio-technical systems. The proposed generalizations are of practical value for managers of IT companies, startups, innovation development consultants, as well as scientists studying the dynamics of digital transformations. In conclusion, the article forms a scientifically sound basis for the development of adaptive, open and strategically integrated models of innovation management in the IT sector of Ukraine.
