CRISIS RESILIENCE OF AN ENTERPRISE UNDER SYSTEMIC CHALLENGES: STRATEGIC DIAGNOSTICS AND ADAPTIVE MANAGEMENT
Abstract
This article analyses the crisis resilience of business entities under systemic external challenges. It investigates the dynamics of key economic indicators across macro-, meso-, and micro-levels to identify the scale and nature of crisis impacts. The analysis reveals distinct patterns of adaptive behaviour depending on the level of economic operation, which allows for more informed managerial decisions. Using a case-based approach, the study outlines strategic response directions, including the diversification of resource flows, the maintenance of investment activity, and the adoption of scenario planning tools. It demonstrates the practical value of multi-level diagnostics for enhancing organisational flexibility during periods of instability, especially in war-affected economies. The research methodology is based on comparative analysis and structural interpretation of economic indicators from official statistics and enterprise-level data. It does not propose a new method but exemplifies how structured empirical observation may inform crisis-response strategies under conditions of prolonged uncertainty. The findings highlight differences in recovery trajectories, showing that resilience can be reinforced through timely reinvestment, operational adaptation, and internal transformation. The ability to withstand external stressors is linked to proactive resource allocation, digitalisation of management processes, and continuous monitoring of economic signals. From a practical perspective, the results can support enterprises operating in high-risk sectors or under martial law. The study contributes to the development of strategic orientations that enable timely decision-making, improved operational sustainability, and enhanced resistance to future crises. It may also assist policymakers, analysts, and institutional stakeholders in designing integrated crisis management approaches tailored to complex and volatile economic environments.
