GLOBAL EXPERIENCE OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF IT COMPANIES: SYNTHESIS OF INTERNATIONAL PRACTICES WITH UKRAINIAN REALITIES

Abstract

The article explores the essence of the category of strategic management of IT companies in the context of digital transformation, identifies the main trends in the development of the industry and considers international experience in this area. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of key aspects of strategic management, such as digital integration, adaptability to change, the use of flexible methodologies and the introduction of the latest technologies to increase competitiveness. The paper examines advanced management models used by global technology leaders, including Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Apple, which actively use artificial intelligence, big data analytics, the Internet of Things and cloud technologies to optimize business processes. Considerable attention is paid to the implementation of flexible management methodologies. The experience of international IT companies demonstrates that the use of such approaches allows you to reduce the time to market for products, increase employee productivity and respond faster to customer requests. Strategic approaches to management based on the development of an ecosystem business are also considered, which allows you to integrate products, services and technologies into a single environment to increase user loyalty. The study analyzes the features of the Ukrainian IT sector, which is one of the most dynamic in Eastern Europe. The main advantages of the industry are highlighted, including high qualification of specialists, a developed outsourcing model and a gradual transition to the development of its own technological products. At the same time, the key challenges facing Ukrainian IT companies are considered, including a limited domestic market, high competition for talents, the impact of economic instability and the need to attract foreign investment. The mechanisms for integrating international experience in strategic management into Ukrainian realities are separately investigated. Approaches to adapting global models are proposed, including the active use of digital technologies, the development of startup ecosystems, the implementation of innovative management solutions and the involvement of international partnerships to expand sales markets. In addition, the prospects for the development of the Ukrainian IT industry are examined and recommendations are offered for improving the strategic management of companies in the context of globalization and digital transformation.
