OPTIMIZATION OF LOGISTICS PROCESSES IN IMPORT ACTIVITIES
Abstract
The article considers the role of logistics in the import activities of an enterprise. The main attention is paid to the optimization of transport flows, improvement of warehouse operations and minimization of logistics costs. The author emphasizes the importance of integrating logistics with international trade, as well as the need for resilience to change and development of human capital. The article summarizes modern approaches to managing logistics processes in import activities and emphasizes its role in increasing the efficiency of enterprises in the global market. The main factors that are most taken into account in the international logistics chain for importers are identified. It is established that the main areas of optimization of logistics processes in import activities are as follows: automation, electronic data exchange with customs authorities, involvement of logistics operators. A practical case of optimization of logistics processes in the import activities of an enterprise is considered. Optimization of logistics processes in import activities is a key aspect for increasing efficiency, reducing costs and ensuring business competitiveness. It has been established that the use of specialized software solutions for managing freight transportation, warehousing and customs procedures. This allows minimizing the human factor and speeding up processes. Ensuring transparent communication and integration of information systems with suppliers is a very important point for improving inventory management and delivery times. Using specialized tools to analyze and plan the most economical and fastest delivery routes will allow the importer to minimize shipping costs. Optimization of logistics processes in import activities allows to significantly reduce costs, increase the efficiency of deliveries and the quality of service to end consumers. In today's conditions of globalization and dynamic international trade, enterprises must actively implement digital solutions, cooperate with logistics operators and systematically analyze the efficiency of the supply chain.
