INFRASTRUCTURE PROVISION OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF THE ECONOMY: THEORETICAL CONCEPT OF RESEARCH

Keywords: agricultural sector, economy, infrastructure, support, development, competitiveness

Abstract

The article examines the features of the infrastructure support of the agrarian sector of the economy. The main structural elements of the infrastructure for the development of the agrarian sector are identified. It is proven that the low level of development of the infrastructure support of the agrarian sector of the economy reduces the efficiency of economic ties, reduces the pace of production processes, increases the costs of forming sales channels for finished products, etc. The state of development of the agrarian sector of the economy is investigated, taking into account the period of military aggression. The main problems that hinder the development of agrarian business in Ukraine, taking into account the difficult security situation, were identified. It is established that today the state and business are faced with the task of developing and restoring infrastructure support to normalize the work of enterprises in the industry. The effectiveness of the comprehensive development of infrastructure support contributes to the activation and expansion of the agrarian sector of the economy. It is determined that the infrastructure component plays a fundamental role in the formation of a sustainable model of agrarian development in Ukraine. The issue of financial support for infrastructure development also remains relevant. Limited access to long-term credit resources, high interest rates and a shortage of insurance mechanisms restrain investment activity. It is proven that today the infrastructure support of the agricultural sector of Ukraine is in a state of deep transformation. In the context of economic transformation, the effects of military factors and European integration processes, infrastructure support requires systematic rethinking and modernization. It is substantiated that despite the difficult security and economic conditions today, the agricultural sector continues its work. It is proven that the effective functioning of agriculture is impossible without proper material and technical, energy, logistical and information support. The need to introduce measures to restore and develop the infrastructure support of the agricultural sector to ensure its competitiveness is substantiated.
