ADVANTAGES OF IMPLEMENTING AUGMENTED, VIRTUAL, MIXED REALITY TECHNOLOGIES INTO THE ACTIVITIES OF CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES
Abstract
The article explores the advantages of implementing digital technologies in the activities of construction companies. The features and directions of implementing augmented reality are analyzed: visualization of real estate objects; creation of AR catalogs; development of mobile AR applications; integration of AR content with websites and social networks; placement of QR codes on advertising materials and sites; automatic launch of AR visualization of a real estate object at the locations of potential buyers; interaction of potential buyers with a virtual project. An algorithm for implementing AR in the activities of construction companies and advantages that increase the efficiency of activities is proposed. The features and directions of implementing virtual reality in the activities of construction companies are analyzed. An algorithm for implementing VR in the activities of construction companies and corresponding advantages is proposed. The features and directions of implementing mixed reality in the activities of construction companies are analyzed. An algorithm for implementing augmented reality in the activities of construction companies and corresponding advantages is proposed. It is emphasized that all the advantages of implementing AR, VR, MR will improve communication between developers of real estate projects and clients, reduce the costs of making adjustments and shorten the time for making decisions. It is proposed to introduce into scientific circulation the concept of “chain of integration of AR, VR, MR technologies” as a scientific abstraction to reflect the sequence of using AR, VR, MR technologies in the activities of enterprises from the creation of digital models to their practical application. The scientific significance of the proposed concept of “chain of integration of AR, VR, MR technologies in the activities of construction enterprises” is that it reflects the process of systematic phased implementation of innovative solutions through the use of immersive technologies.
