CONTEMPORARY METHODS OF LOGISTICS FLOW MANAGEMENT IN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article presents a comprehensive study of modern logistics methods as a tool of strategic enterprise management under conditions of increased uncertainty, digital transformation, and global competition. It is determined that logistics, in its contemporary understanding, goes beyond operational functions and integrates into the strategic context as a system that ensures efficient management of resources, information flows, and stakeholder interaction. The conceptual framework is clarified, and key approaches to managing logistics processes are classified, particularly through the use of MRP, MRP II, DRP, and ERP systems within the framework of predictive logistics flow management. These tools are considered not only as technological foundations for process automation, but also as platforms for decision-making that take into account industry-specific risks, constraints, and the strategic priorities of the enterprise. A systematization and comparative analysis of the advantages and limitations of each of the considered systems is provided. Their main components, areas of application, and implementation prospects in the current economic development context are outlined. The study identifies the key challenges in implementing logistics methods within the dynamic domestic business environment, including insufficient regulatory support, limited access to digital solutions, and the low level of enterprise integration into global supply chains. The paper substantiates the relevance of adopting an adaptive logistics approach that considers external challenges, changes in consumer behavior, and the ever-growing demands for speed and transparency in the supply of raw materials and energy resources. Particular attention is paid to the role of logistics in enhancing the competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises, reducing costs, improving customer service quality, and increasing resilience to potential crises caused by uncertainty factors. The findings of the study can be used to inform strategic decision-making at the enterprise, sectoral, and regional levels during the transition to the digital economy and the development of Industry 4.0.
