Abstract

he article explores the role of technology convergence in ensuring the sustainable development of enterprises within the framework of Industry 5.0. It analyzes the integration of digital, biological, and environmental innovations into production processes, identifying key challenges and prospects for their implementation. The study examines fundamental technological directions, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, blockchain, biotechnology, and renewable energy sources, which contribute to optimizing resource utilization, enhancing production efficiency, and reducing environmental impact. The research highlights the critical barriers to implementing convergent technologies, such as enterprises' infrastructural and technological readiness, the shortage of skilled personnel, the absence of unified regulatory standards, and insufficient government incentives. A comprehensive approach to forming effective business models aligned with the imperatives of Industry 5.0 is proposed. It emphasizes balancing automation and human-centered production, ensuring flexibility in technological solutions, and adopting sustainable development strategies. The study also explores the necessity of a multi-vector approach combining technological innovation, adaptive management, and social responsibility as key drivers for successfully transitioning to a new industrial paradigm. Furthermore, the article underscores the importance of digital transformation in creating resilient business ecosystems that can adapt to rapid economic and technological changes. The findings suggest that technology convergence fosters the long-term competitiveness of enterprises by integrating intelligent manufacturing systems, predictive analytics, and energy-efficient solutions. Implementing Industry 5.0 principles will enable enterprises to enhance operational efficiency, minimize production losses, and achieve greater sustainability in a globally interconnected economy. The study concludes that fostering collaboration between businesses, research institutions, and policymakers is essential for accelerating the adoption of convergent technologies and ensuring their effectiveness in achieving economic and environmental objectives.
