INNOVATIVELY ACTIVE ENTERPRISES THROUGH THE PRISM OF CAPITAL INVESTMENTS IN TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE ASSETS
Abstract
The article examines the number of innovative enterprises by the distribution of costs for innovation activities, the volume of innovative products sold by them, the volume of capital investments in scientific, professional and technical activities in Ukraine. In Ukraine, we have for 2021 the ratio of investments in tangible assets to investments in intangible assets as 1:20, and in 2023 this ratio was 1:19. In 2023, there is an increase in costs for the acquisition and creation of new assets compared to 2021 by UAH 6,999.637 million, which we consider positive. The costs of acquiring assets that were used in 2023 decreased by UAH 8,088.777 million compared to 2021, which is also positive. The hypothesis is put forward that now, more than ever before, the issue of supporting innovatively active enterprises remains relevant for Ukraine. Accelerated war and post-war reconstruction of the national economy is possible by increasing the volume of capital investments in intangible assets of innovative enterprises, the introduction of high technologies in production and industry, the construction of infrastructure and the use of digital tools to form the country’s digital ecosystem. The authors noted that the activities of innovatively active enterprises depend on the financing of innovative projects, highly professional researchers and developers of innovative ideas, the available digital infrastructure, the quality of institutions for innovative and digital development, the socio-economic environment of the functioning of business entities, and security in the country. Itʼs proposed to develop tools and mechanisms to support enterprises that work with or produce innovative products. Examples of successfully implemented innovation and investment projects through the prism of digital transformation of business processes of business entities are presented. Among them: the COWO platform, which digitizes the outstaffing business process in an IT company or in a recruiting agency; the confpuise.com startup for HR; the implementation of EDO and the digital solutions for business “Vchasno”.
