CHATACTERIZATION AND ANALYSIS OF ERP MODULES

Abstract

This article is about the use of ERP systems in the enterprise. In today's high-tech and competitive environment, businesses are looking for new ways to increase efficiency. The concept of ERP is not new. However, unfortunately, not all Ukrainian entrepreneurs use it. Enterprise resource planning is software designed to simplify the management of business processes in an organization. The solution provides infrastructure for storing, processing, and exchanging data, as well as tools for developing and deploying applications. Depending on the specifics of the business, resources and processes may vary, but ERP systems offer both basic and specialized solutions tailored to a particular industry or service sector. The article also discusses ERP system modules. Small and medium-sized enterprises often face budget and resource constraints. Depending on its needs, a company chooses which modules it needs to automate business processes. ERP systems can be easily integrated with e-commerce sites, accounting programs, and other systems such as CRM, MIS, BI, SCM, etc. This article focuses on the deployment of an ERP system. There are the following types of deployment: on-premises, cloud, and hybrid, i.e., a two-tier solution. Each type of deployment has its own characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages. The most common type of ERP deployment is the Software as a Service model. ERP systems are evolving rapidly, with advancements such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and the Internet of Things being integrated into modern ERP solutions. These technologies enhance decision-making, predictive analytics, and the automation of business processes, providing companies with even greater efficiency and insights. When ERP software is provided as a service in the cloud, it runs on a network of remote servers rather than in a server company. Examples of ERP systems used in multinational companies and small and medium-sized enterprises are also provided. Successful implementations demonstrate that such a solution increases efficiency, reduces costs, and improves control over the company's sectors.
