INSTITUTIONAL AND ECONOMIC MECHANISMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN THE CONDITIONS OF TRANSFORMATION OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
Abstract
The article examines the institutional and economic mechanisms for the development of intercultural communication in the context of the transformation of international relations. An analysis of the main challenges hindering effective communication between subjects of international cooperation is conducted, including regulatory barriers, economic factors, digital challenges, and the need for training specialists in this field. The relevance of the study is determined by the growing role of intercultural communication in a globalized world, which requires the adaptation of institutional mechanisms to modern conditions of international relations. It is noted that effective interaction between cultures is a key factor in the development of international business, diplomacy, science, and education. The study highlights the role of international organizations such as UNESCO, the UN, and the European Council in shaping the regulatory framework for intercultural dialogue. The necessity of integrating state policies and programs aimed at stimulating cultural exchange and international cooperation is emphasized. Special attention is given to economic incentives that promote the development of intercultural communication. The mechanisms for financing international cultural projects, the role of businesses in supporting cultural dialogue, and investments in educational programs for developing intercultural competencies are analyzed. Digital transformation of communication processes is considered a crucial factor in the development of intercultural interaction. The opportunities and threats associated with the use of digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and social networks in global communication processes are identified. As a result, the need for a comprehensive approach to the development of intercultural communication is justified through the combination of institutional, economic, and digital mechanisms. The proposed findings can be used to improve international cooperation strategies, contributing to the harmonization of intercultural relations and economic development. Additionally, further research should focus on the impact of emerging technologies on cross-cultural dialogue and the role of education in fostering global intercultural competence. The study’s conclusions provide practical implications for policymakers, businesses, and educational institutions seeking to enhance global collaboration.
