DIAGNOSTICS OF THE ENTERPRISE’S BUSINESS POTENTIAL IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to justify the need to diagnose the business potential of the enterprise in the conditions of war as a preventive measure of bankruptcy prevention of the enterprise. The study emphasizes the importance of diagnosing the business potential of the enterprise for rapid response to changes in the macro environment, as the war has created unprecedented challenges for business in Ukraine and enterprises are forced to adapt to an unstable environment, since there were problems with logistics, lack of personnel and threats. One of the key directions of diagnostics of the business potential of the enterprise is the analysis of the external environment of the enterprise, which is due to the peculiarities of the functioning of the enterprise in the conditions of war. At this stage of diagnostics of business potential of the enterprise conduct an assessment of the political situation (instability, changes in legislation, influence of international sanctions and assistance); economic changes (inflation, difficulties with the supply of raw materials, changes in purchasing power); social consequences (change of consumer behavior, reduction of demand, changes in labor (eg, mobilization)); safety and infrastructure (disruption in supply chains, infrastructure destruction, changes in logistics). This approach will help identify external threats and opportunities for business, which will develop strategies for adaptation or use of new chances, even in difficult conditions. The need to analyze the internal environment of the enterprise in war is emphasized, as this is important for assessing the company's ability to adapt to changes and minimization of risks associated with instability. Since the war makes significant changes to the business environment, businesses must carefully study their internal resources, the ability to adapt, and the readiness for crisis situations. The implementation of the proposed recommendations will preserve the sustainability of business and maintain its development even in war.
