FORECASTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE IT PRODUCT MARKET IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article examines the development of the IT product market under contemporary conditions, analyzing both its structure and promising directions while taking into account the influence of external factors. The modern IT market, characterized by a high level of innovation, is becoming an arena for the implementation of cutting-edge digital products and services that meet the demands of the global economy. The outbreak of the war marked a turning point, as the changes triggered by this event have significantly impacted not only the IT services market and labor relations but also the level of cybersecurity as well as the methods of project implementation and their intended purposes. The article is extremely relevant in the context of global changes and unpredictable challenges –particularly for the IT sector – and explores the possibilities for Ukrainian IT companies to adapt to new realities in both local and international markets. The study focuses on analyzing the prospects of product IT projects, their structural components, and key development directions. Among the main issues hindering the growth of the IT product sector are an underdeveloped investment ecosystem, regulatory constraints, economic instability, and intense global market competition. These factors create certain obstacles for innovation; however, they simultaneously encourage companies to seek new ways of adaptation and development. At the same time, the rapid development of technologies, the growing demand for innovative digital solutions, and the continuous implementation of advanced technologies create a favorable environment for the expansion of product IT companies in Ukraine. The use of modern forecasting methods enables the accurate identification of key trends, risk analysis, and the development of realistic industry growth scenarios, thereby facilitating investment attraction and the formation of new business models. Thus, despite the challenges, current conditions create significant opportunities for further growth and transformation of the IT product market, ensuring the stable development of digital infrastructure and promoting the integration of Ukrainian companies into the global economic space.
