REENGINEERING OF BUSINESS PROCESSES OF COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES BASED ON CRITICAL CONTROL POINTS: APPROACHES, METHODS AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION
Abstract
The article explores the reengineering of business processes in commercial enterprises based on critical control points (CCPs) as an innovative approach to enhancing efficiency, adaptability, and resilience in the modern economic environment. The relevance of the topic is driven by the need to respond to challenges such as high competition, market instability, rapid technological changes, and the increasing role of digital solutions in business operations. The use of CCPs enables systematic control over key stages of business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring effective managerial decision-making for process optimization. The research methodology includes a process-based approach to business process modeling, a systematic analysis of operational efficiency, the application of statistical methods for performance evaluation, and expert assessment of the impact of CCPs on key enterprise indicators. A methodology for identifying critical control points is proposed, based on the analysis of quality, responsiveness, cost, and business process flexibility parameters. Integrating CCPs into the enterprise management system allows for the automation of monitoring and analysis processes, contributing to faster decision-making and risk minimization. The key research findings confirm the effectiveness of implementing CCPs in business process reengineering, leading to reduced operational costs, increased productivity, and improved enterprise adaptability to market changes. The practical application of the methodology in a commercial enterprise demonstrated that utilizing critical control points enhances business process quality, reduces operational time, and optimizes resource utilization. The practical significance of the study lies in the development of a scientifically grounded methodology for implementing critical control points in business process management. This methodology can be utilized by enterprises across various industries to improve operational activities, strengthen competitive positions, and ensure sustainable growth in the face of modern economic challenges.
