DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN THE ECOSYSTEM: THE FACTOR OF DIGITAL MATURITY
Abstract
Digital transformation has become a key driver of economic development, influencing business models, operational efficiency, and consumer interactions. Organizations are integrating artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and cloud computing to optimize processes and enhance competitiveness. The shift towards digital ecosystems enables businesses to improve agility, scale operations, and create new value propositions. This study analyzes digital transformation within the framework of digital maturity and organizational readiness for a digital environment. Digital maturity is examined as a set of tools, techniques, and approaches in marketing and management. The research explores how businesses assess their digital maturity and its impact on decision-making, investment strategies, and performance. The study identifies key strategies for enhancing digital maturity and organizational adaptability. The relationship between digital transformation and digital maturity is analyzed through case studies across industries, highlighting best practices and challenges. Additionally, the research provides insights into digital literacy, emphasizing digital competence, consumption, and security. Findings indicate that successful digital transformation extends beyond technology implementation to include cultural shifts, workflow reengineering, and employee skill development. The study also considers the role of governmental policies in fostering a digital-friendly business environment, addressing regulatory frameworks, infrastructure investments, and workforce digital skills. Furthermore, it explores how companies in different sectors leverage digital tools to enhance productivity, improve customer engagement, and drive sustainable innovation. By bridging theoretical insights and practical applications, this research offers a structured approach to understanding digital transformation and its implications for business competitiveness. The ongoing evolution of digital technologies necessitates continuous adaptation, learning, and strategic planning to maximize benefits while mitigating risks. Ultimately, organizations must develop a proactive digital strategy to remain resilient in an increasingly dynamic and technologically advanced global market.
