Abstract

The article examines contemporary approaches to project management under wartime conditions, shedding light on the key trends in personnel development necessary to ensure enterprise stability and goal achievement during crises. In particular, the authors identify and summarize the most essential skills required of professionals to maintain efficiency in challenging environments—skills that are increasingly valued by employers. These include adaptability, problem-solving, crisis management, and emotional intelligence, all of which are critical for navigating the unpredictable scenarios shaped by the war. One of the focal points of the article is the importance of flexible and adaptive management models, specifically Agile, in minimizing risks and ensuring smooth operations. Agile’s core principles of flexibility, iterative progress, and collaborative problem-solving provide an effective framework for responding to the fluid nature of crisis scenarios. The article underscores how Agile's methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, allow teams to pivot quickly in response to sudden changes in the environment. Moreover, the authors explore the methods that managers and organizations can adopt to face wartime challenges. In this regard, crisis management and strategic thinking become indispensable, as managers must make quick yet informed decisions to maintain operations. A notable aspect of the discussion is the focus on leadership in times of crisis, with a particular emphasis on emotional resilience. Leaders are required not only to maintain team morale but also to cultivate a work environment that encourages innovation and creative problem-solving. This is especially relevant when faced with unforeseen challenges, where traditional approaches may fall short, and adaptive, flexible strategies become critical for success. Prospects for further research in this area are outlined, which will help to improve management methods in conditions of constant changes, particularly by integrating technology and innovative management tools to address emerging challenges.
