DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF UNIVERSITIES: INTELLIGENT AGENTS BASED ON LOW-CODE TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

This article explores the transformative potential of low-code platforms and intelligent agents in the digital modernization of universities. These technologies simplify software development, reduce implementation costs and time, and enhance adaptability to dynamic conditions. The study focuses on the applications of low-code platforms in automating administrative processes such as document management, curriculum monitoring, and student and faculty data handling. Furthermore, it examines the role of intelligent agents in developing integrated information systems that foster communication across university departments. The findings highlight the importance of these solutions in facilitating rapid data analysis, optimizing resource management, and addressing the challenges posed by modern education. Practical examples of successful implementation of low-code agents in higher education institutions are presented, emphasizing their significant potential for innovation. The low barrier to entry for creating software agents enables wider participation of faculty and students in digital transformation initiatives. This inclusivity not only accelerates the deployment of innovative educational tools but also cultivates a culture of collaboration within university communities. Despite the advantages, the study acknowledges challenges such as platform dependency, limited customization options, and security and integration concerns. Addressing these issues requires strategic planning and the involvement of skilled professionals to maintain and enhance these solutions. Institutions must invest in training and support to ensure that all stakeholders can maximize the benefits of low-code technologies. The research concludes that adopting low-code technologies and intelligent agents strengthens universities' competitiveness, aligning them with the demands of the contemporary digital ecosystem. Future research in this area promises to uncover additional opportunities for improving educational processes and university management systems. The ongoing evolution of these technologies will likely lead to even more innovative applications, enhancing the overall educational experience for students and faculty alike.
