THE IMPORTANCE OF GRANT FUNDING AS A MODERN TOOL FOR NEUTRALIZING THE PROBLEM OF BUSINESS FINANCING IN WAR CONDITIONS

Abstract

Since 2022, Ukrainian entrepreneurship has become more familiar with grants and has become their active consumers. This is due to external support from international donors who aim to create an environment to keep the economy from total collapse. Military events also led to the emergence of grants as compensation funds for entrepreneurs who have physically suffered from its devastating consequences. Given the high relevance of attracting grant funds by Ukrainian business, there are a number of foundations that should be characterized. For example, the importance of grant funds for an enterprise by stage of its life cycle. Accordingly, the article is devoted to the current issues of developing grant funds by enterprises for their own development. The main advantages of grant funds for business among other forms of financial strengthening of entrepreneurship are considered. The importance of grant funds during a certain period of the enterprise's operation, including at the initial stages of development, is also highlighted. A description of national-level grant support for the next three years for Ukraine from international donors is provided. The main areas of interest of international grant funds in the national economy are identified for their further support. The Ukraine Facility Program is considered, which is a roadmap for maintaining the country's economy until 2027. And its main component is the Investment Plan for Supporting the Country until 2027 to identify priority areas of supporting entrepreneurship by type of activity. Which makes it possible to orientate the business environment in future grant programs for the coming years. The emphasis is on the importance of grant attraction of funds for the strategic development of entrepreneurship even in conditions of socio-economic instability. The idea of activating educational policy on grant awareness of business to strengthen the country's economy during the war is formed. Considering the rapid entry of the country's economy into the post-war period, it is important to study all possible alternatives for attracting grant funds, including grant funds.
