CURRENT PROBLEMS OF MANAGING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF HUMAN CAPITAL IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The article analyzes the current problems of managing the competitiveness of human capital in the conditions of the digital economy, in particular, it is established that one of the main problems in Ukraine is the insufficient level of development of digital skills of the population and imperfect digital infrastructure in many regions of the country. The necessity of conducting research on the peculiarities of managing the competitiveness of human capital in Ukraine is substantiated. The key aspects of managing the competitiveness of human capital in the conditions of digitalization of society are analyzed and the essence of the necessary measures for their implementation is outlined. The peculiarities of the formation of human capital in the conditions of the digital economy are considered, namely, the main challenges are identified and the optimal ways to solve them are proposed, taking into account the Ukrainian realities of today. The role of state institutions and private business in creating a favorable environment for the development of the national human capital of Ukraine is determined. The main methods of assessing the competitiveness of human capital are characterized, and it is substantiated that a comprehensive approach allows more flexible and accurate determination of the necessary directions for the development of skills, which will contribute to the effective use of human capital and increase its competitiveness in the conditions of the digital economy. It has been proven that the competitiveness of human capital in the conditions of the digital economy depends on integration into the global trends of digitization, development of digital skills, adaptability and constant updating of knowledge. In addition, the importance of supporting initiatives that contribute to increasing the level of digital literacy, the development of educational programs and professional training that meet the requirements of digital transformation was emphasized. Emphasis is placed on the importance of collaboration among the state, businesses, and educational institutions to build a robust economy that can foster sustainable human capital development amid the rapid shifts in global labor markets.
