IMPLEMENTATION OF FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF SOCIAL FARMING AS A WAY OF ACTIVATING AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the development of social farming. It has been established that today social farming is a global trend that shows positive results in many countries due to its economic capacity and high social effect. In Ukraine, in connection with the state of war, the issue of employment of vulnerable population groups, such as internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, and veterans, has also become more acute. The presence of a large number of social problems in the country forces to look for innovative approaches to their solution, in particular, based on the implementation of foreign experience in the development of social farming, which actualizes the research topic. The purpose of the article is to reveal the foreign experience in the development of social farming as a component of the successful solution of social problems and to justify the need to implement this experience for the activation of agriculture in Ukraine. To achieve the goal, the following general scientific and special methods were used: analysis and synthesis – in the study of various scientific approaches to understanding the concept of social farming; comparison – to compare in time and space the experience of the development of social farming in different countries of the world; abstract-logical – during the formation of theoretical generalizations, recommendations and conclusions. The article reveals the features of the birth, development, regulatory and legal regulation and support for the further development of social farming in different countries of the world. Emphasis is placed on the expediency of implementing foreign experience of social farming. The utility of social farming to ensure the successful integration of agriculture into the international economic space is determined. It is noted that social farming is a tool capable of working to achieve social goals and a driver of socio-economic development of rural areas in wartime conditions. It was established that, subject to the improvement of legal regulation, financial support, diversification of forms of cooperation, and the formation of targeted development programs, Ukraine has the potential to become a leader in the development of social farming.
