INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT FOR INNOVATION IN THE SPHERE OF TRANSPORT LOGISTICS IN CONDITIONS OF TURBULENCE DURING WAR

Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to the transport logistics infrastructure and its special importance for ensuring the security of Ukraine, in conditions of military influence. Military conflicts almost always lead to significant destruction of the logistics infrastructure. Roads, bridges, railway lines, airports and ports are destroyed by missile attacks and bombing of this logistics infrastructure. In these conditions, traditional supply routes become unusable or the movement of goods and personnel of companies is significantly complicated. In addition, the destroyed infrastructure leads to an increase in transportation costs, as logistics companies and the military are forced to look for alternative routes, which are usually longer and less convenient. The authors of the study consider the aspects of maintaining and restoring infrastructure during wartime as a difficult task, since repair teams are exposed to danger, and the resources necessary for the reconstruction of infrastructure are often in short supply. This, in turn, makes the situation especially difficult in conditions of protracted conflicts, where access to strategic infrastructure facilities remains limited for a long time. Disruptions in the supply of resources during military conflicts make the supply of fuel, medicine, food and other critical equipment extremely difficult. Military actions complicate access to sources of resources, and blockades of strategic facilities can lead to a shortage of the most necessary goods. This is especially noticeable in regions that do not have local production of certain resources and are completely dependent on imports. Disruptions in transport supplies lead to the development of new approaches and logistics strategies, such as the creation of reserve stocks, diversification of suppliers, and the introduction of local production of critical goods (for example, the use of 3D printing for the manufacture of spare parts or medical equipment). Logistics companies are exploring the possibilities of using alternative resources to reduce dependence on standard suppliers and ensure the stability of logistics processes.
