THE STATE AGRARIAN REGISTER AS A CATALYST FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE

Abstract

The article examines the role of the State Agrarian Register (SAR) as a key instrument for the economic development of agriculture in Ukraine. In today's economy, when the agricultural sector is becoming an important component of the national economy, the SAR acts as a catalyst for changes, ensuring integration of information technology into traditional agricultural practices. The research methodology included the analysis of statistical data, a survey among agricultural producers, and a study of granting practices in Ukraine. The study examined the impact of grant aid on the development of the agricultural sector, analysing the efficiency of using the funds received per unit of land, purchase of machinery and other resources. The results of the study showed that the provision of grants per 1 hectare of land has a positive impact on increasing agricultural productivity, as well as promoting the development of new technologies and improving financial stability of farms. The results show that agricultural producers who received grants demonstrate a significant increase in production and income compared to those who did not participate in support programmes. It also shows that the SAR significantly improves the efficiency of management decisions, reduces administrative barriers and promotes market transparency. It was found that in the regions where the SAR is actively implemented, there is an increase in investment in the agricultural sector by 20-30%, which indicates its positive impact on economic development. The practical value of the article lies in the development of recommendations for improving the functioning of the SAR, in particular, in the context of integrating modern information technologies, such as blockchain and big data, to ensure greater transparency and efficiency. The article also focuses on the need to train agricultural producers on how to use the registry, which will increase their awareness and activity in the market. The results of the study can be used by government agencies to formulate policy in the agricultural sector, as well as for research in the field of economic development of agriculture.
