ANIMATION-EXCURSION ACTIVITIES AND NATURE THERAPY AS REHABILITATION METHODS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER
Abstract
The literature review has shown that despite numerous achievements, many theories and concepts, the issues of animation-excursion activities and nature therapy as rehabilitation methods for people with disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder are still not fully addressed, which determined the choice of this topic and its relevance. The aim of the study is to characterize the features of animation-excursion activities and nature therapy as rehabilitation methods for people with disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder. The main task within this article is to characterize the key principles of the impact of animation-excursion activities and nature therapy on enhancing the effectiveness of rehabilitation for people with disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder. To achieve the set goal, a number of methods were used, including induction and deduction, comparison and systematization—to identify the list of key features of animation-excursion activities and nature therapy; synthesis and analysis—to prove the significance of the impact of animation-excursion activities and nature therapy on enhancing the effectiveness of rehabilitation for people with disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder; tabular—for the qualitative presentation of research results; abstract-logical—for forming theoretical generalizations and conclusions of the research. Animation-excursion activities and nature therapy are becoming increasingly important rehabilitation tools for people with disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder for several reasons. First and foremost, these methods promote emotional healing. Interaction with nature and participation in cultural and recreational events help reduce levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. The defining characteristics of animation-excursion activities and nature therapy as rehabilitation methods for people with disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder have been identified.
