STUDY OF THE RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF TOURIST ENTERPRISES: STATISTICAL ASPECT
Abstract
The article is devoted to a statistical study of the main performance indicators of enterprises operating in the field of tourism business. In particular, profitability trends, the dynamics of the number of business entities were analyzed, and the effectiveness of their activities was evaluated based on a comparison of the growth rates of such indicators as the number of business entities, the number of employees, personnel costs, the volume of services provided, and net profit. It was found that the most favorable periods for activity according to these indicators were 2018 and 2019. If we analyze the indicators of 2022, then all the indicators do not meet the optimal parameters. For the most part, during the analyzed period, the industry was unprofitable. However, there are trends of rapid recovery after a period of recession. Negative trends towards a decrease in the number of business entities in the industry during 2022-2023 have been revealed. The factors that determine the increased riskiness of the tourism sector have been studied. In particular, the tourism sector is characterized by a high dependence on external factors, seasonality, a difficult logistical component of business, and the specificity of the tourist product. The development of the tourism sphere leads to an increase in the level of development of the regions. The directions of development of the industry in the context of post-war reconstruction are outlined. In particular, it is necessary to develop military (military) tourism to attract foreign tourists (creation of routes through memorial places where active hostilities took place and de-occupied territories), ensure the availability of shelters when developing tourist routes, develop evacuation plans for cultural assets in museums, as well as new approaches to urban planning. An important direction for revitalizing the industry is the development of measures to strengthen international and local branding of tourist routes in Ukraine. The need to study practical and theoretical aspects of improving the risk management system of tourist enterprises is emphasized.
