STATE POLICY RESEARCH IN THE SPHERE OF SECURITY OF THE STATE BORDER OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the state policy in the sphere of security of the state border of Ukraine, which is a key element of national security and is of crucial importance in the conditions of modern challenges and threats. The article examines the main aspects of state management of border security, including legislative regulation, institutional system, technological support and international cooperation. Special attention is paid to the analysis of modern challenges related to military aggression by Russia, as well as measures taken to strengthen border security in wartime conditions. The main components of state policy in the field of border security are highlighted: legislative regulation, institutional system, technological support, international cooperation, humanitarian aspects, combating cross-border crime, adaptation to new challenges. Ways to improve state policy in the field of border security are proposed, taking into account European practices and the need to adapt to new threats. The results of the study can be useful for the development of strategies aimed at strengthening the security of Ukraine and ensuring stable development in conditions of constant external aggression. The works of scientists who emphasize the need to create flexible and effective response mechanisms capable of protecting Ukraine's national interests and sovereignty have been analyzed. The main aspects of the study include the analysis of legal and institutional frameworks that regulate activities in the field of border security. This involves the study of legislative acts, regulatory documents, international agreements and standards that determine the order of border protection, as well as interaction between various state structures and international partners. The study of state policy in the field of security of the state border of Ukraine covers a wide range of issues, including legal, technological, international and social aspects, and is an integral part of ensuring the national security and sovereignty of Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on the importance of international cooperation in strengthening the border, in particular through integration with European security structures.
