TRANSNATIONALIZATION AS A TOOL FOR ENSURING THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE TOURISM SECTOR

Abstract

The article outlines promising directions for the development of tourism through organizational and legal forms. The content and structure of the strategy of transnationalization is revealed. The approaches of domestic and international researchers to the content of the definition "transnational corporation" have been determined. In general, studies that show that there are industries where competition takes on a global scale, and the combination of the operation of the company in the country of the base with the presence of its divisions in other countries allows not only to obtain economies of scale due to the provision of services, but also to more actively enter the market of these countries. The prerequisites for the emergence of theoretical concepts of the activities of transnational corporations and the criteria for their distribution are outlined. The peculiarities of the creation of transnational corporations in various branches of the country's economy are noted. The peculiarities of the structure of transnational corporations in the field of tourism are noted. The content of the stages of entering the world market of transnational corporations in the field of tourism is disclosed. It has been proven that multinational corporations are a powerful employer in many countries, as the supply of jobs increases every year as they become more active in the world's markets. The current trends in the geographical distribution of the largest transnational corporations in the world are analyzed, the leading countries and their share in the overall structure of entrepreneurship development are identified. An analysis of the dynamics of the number of transnational corporations and their foreign divisions in the world was carried out, and the most profitable transnational corporations in the world were determined according to the Fortune Global 500 rating. Alternative forms of activity of transnational companies in the field of tourism were characterized. In general, for the field of tourism, transnational companies use four alternative forms of activity: duplication of the business model, multi-local, global strategy of a transnational corporation, transnational strategy. The emergence and activation of transnational companies in the tourism market is an effective competitive lever.
