GLAMPING TOURISM AS A PROMISING DEVELOPMENT FOR THE REGIONAL HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

Abstract

The article discusses topical issues of development of the regional hospitality industry with an emphasis on innovations and creation of new formats of tourist products. Attention is paid to such an alternative format as glamping tourism. The main issues of successful implementation of glamping projects, such as location selection, infrastructure development, marketing and promotion, as well as challenges associated with the implementation of glamping, such as environmental and safety issues, waste management and interaction with local communities, are considered. The motivations of young people who prefer this form of recreation are analyzed, ranging from proximity to nature and outdoor activities to experimentation with lifestyle and environmental awareness. The main reasons that encourage young people to choose glamping are highlighted, such as natural tranquility, the possibility of experimentation, and accessibility and affordability, as glamping can be an alternative option for young people on a limited budget who are looking for an unusual and interesting vacation. Compared to classic vacation options, glamping can be more cost-effective and more memorable due to the unique experience of being in an unusual environment. The study reflects the diversity of motives and values of young people, which helps to understand the popularity of glamping tourism among the target audience, which has a unique opportunity to start a business with virtually no competitors and unlimited opportunities for its expansion. The article explores the main issues of this concept, such as its essence, features and advantages in comparison with traditional forms of tourism and the hotel business. The result of the work is the proposed measures that will encourage young people to choose this type of recreation. In addition, it has been determined that comfortable conditions for recreation, active entertainment, themed events and festivals, as well as environmental awareness are important factors that attract young people to glamping tourism. The proposed measures are aimed at ensuring a positive vacation experience and increasing the attractiveness of this type of tourism among young people.
