PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR

Abstract

The article is devoted to the topical issues of ensuring the recovery of the construction industry of Ukraine in the conditions of war. The article analyses the damage caused to the Ukrainian economy since the large-scale invasion of Russia. The article identifies the problems of construction companies (destroyed infrastructure, loss of logistics links, suspension of many companies, lack of financial resources, reduced labour potential, demand, and solvency of the population) that need to be addressed in order to ensure rapid recovery and economic growth of the country's economy and solve many social problems. The scale of destruction of individual infrastructure facilities and entire cities requires a reassessment of the usual approaches to their reconstruction. One of the most important problems is obtaining land permits from local authorities. The development industry is developing according to the vector set by the market. Investors are paying attention to the remoteness of residential complexes from military and critical infrastructure facilities and important industrial sites. The article analyses which countries are ready to join the restoration of destroyed Ukrainian cities. The article suggests directions of improvement of the economic status of the construction industry and construction enterprises. Construction companies are increasingly investing in information technology, which allows them to save time, money and increase the level of personnel safety. The construction industry involves a significant number of people and many related industries in the construction process. The construction industry plays an important role in the economy, as it is becoming the most important condition for increasing the number of employees and the functioning of business entities. Attention is focused on the analysis of general situations in the work of construction enterprises and making important decisions. The resumption of construction will have a positive impact on the lives of the population and improve the country's post-war economy: it will provide jobs, increase the production of materials and open new businesses. You need to be prepared for the reconstruction, understand the problems and start working on them in advance.
