DEVELOPMENT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITY IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF THE UKRAINIAN ECONOMY
Abstract
The article deals with the current issues of development of entrepreneurial activity in the agricultural sector of Ukraine's economy. It is emphasized that the agricultural sector plays a significant role in ensuring the economic development of Ukraine, forming a significant share of gross domestic product and employment. The importance of studying this topic in the context of ensuring the food security of the State, increasing the export potential of domestic agricultural products, modernizing the industry and attracting investment is substantiated. The purpose of the study is to determine the current state, potential opportunities and threats to the development of agricultural entrepreneurship in Ukraine. A set of general scientific and special research methods was used, in particular: statistical data analysis, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis. The study analyzes structural changes in agriculture, changes in the share of small, medium and large enterprises. Tendencies to intensify the cooperative movement and diversify the activities of agricultural enterprises are identified. The strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the development of agrarian entrepreneurship, including the impact of the Russian military actions on the state of the industry, are identified. Promising areas of support for entrepreneurial initiatives are outlined, including the creation of a favorable institutional environment, development of rural infrastructure, financial support, development of agroecotourism and self-employment. In general, ensuring the sustainable development of agrarian entrepreneurship requires a comprehensive approach, including the creation of a favorable business environment, modernization of production, attraction of investments, diversification of the rural economy and support for the diversification of producers' activities. The practical value of the study lies in the possibility of using its results to formulate strategies for the development of agrarian entrepreneurship in Ukraine at various levels.
