ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF INVESTMENTS IN SOLAR ENERGY: PROFITABILITY, PROFITABILITY, RISKS

Abstract

In recent years, solar energy has developed significantly as an environmentally friendly and efficient energy source. In the context of today's challenges in the field of energy, the use of solar energy is experiencing significant interest from both the private and public sectors. Economic analysis is an essential tool for evaluating the effectiveness of solar energy investments. One of the main issues in the discussion is the return on investment and profitability of investments in solar energy. Developing financial models for predicting returns and assessing investment risks is a crucial challenge for investors and regulators. Government incentives play an important role in supporting the development of solar energy. Strengthening regulatory measures and implementing financial incentives can increase the volume of investments in this sector. However, risks such as fluctuating solar panel prices, technical challenges, and energy policy uncertainty stand in the way of sustainable solar energy development. Discussing ways to reduce these risks and developing strategies to manage them is essential for the sector's sustainable growth. However, investors are tasked with conducting a detailed economic analysis of investments in the energy industry. The study aimed to conduct an economic analysis of investments in solar energy given their payback, profitability and risks. The trends of the renewable energy market and their impact on the effectiveness of investments in this industry are considered. Trends in the renewable energy market, particularly solar, should also be considered in the discussion. In recent years, there has been an increase in the popularity of solar energy, which indicates the prospects of this direction. The article presents a financial model for predicting the profitability of investments in solar energy. The impact of state regulation and energy policy on solar energy development has been studied. The obtained results can be used to forecast the economic aspects of investing in solar energy and will help investors make informed decisions about choosing investment projects in this field.
