IMPROVING THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF MANAGEMENT AT DIFFERENT STAGES OF THE LIFE CYCLE OF BUSINESS STRUCTURES

Abstract

Entrepreneurship development is a key aspect of Ukraine's economic growth, but the country has been going through a difficult time in recent years due to global crises, the pandemic, and the war. The low level of technological equipment and innovative development of business entities complicates the situation. This leads to a decline in sales and profits, reinforcing the need to optimize costs. Therefore, it is important to examine the internal environment of enterprises and look for ways to improve their management efficiency. Attention should be paid to various aspects such as organizational culture, the degree of centralization of management, and the use of modern management and communication technologies. In addition, the development of flexible management methods aimed at creating effective communication channels and internal coordination can help to increase the enterprise's responsiveness to changes in the environment. Such an approach will allow enterprises not only to survive in an unstable environment, but also to actively develop and achieve competitive advantages. One of the main problems is the lack of flexibility of the organizational structure, which hinders adaptation to changes. When building such structures, managers should take into account various factors, including the stage of the business entity's life cycle and its organizational and legal form. The aim of the study is to identify the main ways to improve the management structure at the stages of the life cycle of business structures. To achieve this goal, the author used such general scientific research methods as methods of induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, analogy and formalization. The following results have been obtained: first, the essence of the concept of "organizational structure" and the requirements that it must meet when building it have been defined; second, the content of the concept of "life cycle of an enterprise" and the criteria for determining the stage of their development have been studied; third, the peculiarities of building an organizational management structure in accordance with the stage of its life cycle have been analyzed. The practical value of the obtained results lies in the formulation of recommendations for improving the organizational structure of management at different stages of the life cycle of entrepreneurial structures, in particular at the stage of inception, development, maturity, and decline.
