FEATURES OF PROJECT TEAM MANAGEMENT IN HYBRID ENVIRONMENT
Abstract
The article focuses on the management of project teams in a hybrid environment. The purpose of this article is to analyze the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and digital transformation to team management. The paper uses the general economic provisions of management theory, project and strategic management related to team management and the formation of a work environment. The methods of comparison and data description were used to analyze the literature; methods of generalization and systematization were used to determine the factors of the hybrid environment; a graphical method was used to represent the hybrid environment as a whole based on a 3D model in the form of a tetrahedron. The key prerequisites for the transformation of team management are identified, such as changes in HR strategies caused by the pandemic, the tendency to maintain hybrid or fully virtual teams, the interaction between people and artificial intelligence in joint projects, and the environmental crisis. It is established that these are important factors that affect the activities and strategies of organizations. It has been determined that the key aspects of hybrid work environments are a combination of physical and virtual workspaces, autonomous team collaboration between people, generational diversity, and distributed leadership. The main features of project team management in hybrid environments are systematized. It is emphasized that the strategy for managing teams in a hybrid environment is the need to integrate technological innovations and human potential for effective interaction between different generations of employees and artificial intelligence within project teams. The need for managers to develop a comprehensive approach to managing project teams in a hybrid environment that offers ideas for increasing flexibility, inclusiveness, and productivity is emphasized. The study provides insight into the dynamics of project team management in the complexity of modern hybrid work environments, offering practical strategies for organizational development and human resource management in the face of continuous technological advancement and changes in work models.
