AUTOMATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS OF THE HOTEL AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS ENTERPRISE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the topical issues of automation of management systems of a hotel and restaurant business enterprise. The hardware and software for automation of processes in a hotel enterprise are studied. The article considers the FIDELIO management system, which is a single database managed by one of the world's most reliable and flexible database management systems Oracle; a software interface that interacts with the MICROS restaurant system and allows making payments for services in restaurants, bars and other points of sale of a hotel and restaurant enterprise. The possibilities of integrating the interface with the hotel telephone exchange software with several types of automatic telephone exchanges, such as MERIDIAN, with accounting systems, such as KaKSUN and SCALA, are presented. The interaction of FIDELIO with the restaurant management system MICROS, telephone system, telephone call billing system, automatic minibar system, customer account management system, electronic lock system VINGCARD, credit card authorization VERYFONE, and the accounting system FIDELIO is analyzed. Automated systems allow for a high level of data security and control over various aspects of the hotel business. The use of automation systems helps to optimize the use of resources, which allows the hotel to effectively use its potential. Automation simplifies administrative tasks and management processes, making the workflow less time-consuming and more efficient. The article analyzes the Internet content, website and social networks of the hotel and restaurant enterprise. A hotel website can provide a convenient and accessible interface for guests. Key aspects of the website may include: multilingualism, hotel information, booking section, mobile compatibility, contact information.
