FORMATION OF THE CLASSIFICATION OF CONFLICTS AS A MANAGEMENT TOOL OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The opinions of scientists who were engaged in the classification of conflicts were analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the problem of putting into practice the existing classification of Ukrainian and foreign scientists due to the large number of signs, diversity in the characteristics of conflicts, the causes of their origin, effective measures to neutralize their negative consequences and risks of their occurrence. The dual role of the conflict is noted: it is the cause of the emergence of additional financial or resource problems in the enterprise, or it detects, filters, cleans, contributes to the solution of the chain of problems. Emphasis is placed on appropriate conflicts, which are formed at the highest levels of management with the participation of managers with professional experience in organizing conflict situations and possessing a conflict management mechanism. Established a number of specific types of conflicts, such as: impulsive and expedient, horizontal and vertical, multi-level diagonal and complex mixed, synchronous and systematic, prospective, current, retrospective. Purposeful conflict contributes to the emergence of an opportunity to direct the other party to speed up understanding and acceptance of joint proposals. However, only highly professional workers have this ability. Specific scientific methods of research were used: when describing the history of the study of conflict types in the context of the management of industrial enterprises, general scientific and empirical methods were used; generalization when interpreting individual concepts, organizing data when summarizing the material; systemic analysis and synthesis were used to interpret the fundamental concepts of conflict theory, and the cause-and-effect method was used to create a system of effective conflict management. The result of the study is an updated author's practically significant classification of conflicts, which should be used as an effective tool for the management of industrial enterprises.
