SCIENTIFIC MAPPING OF THE RESEARCH FIELD OF COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIES USING THE BIBLIOMETRIX R-PACKAGE
Abstract
The article researches scientific literature related to the issue of competitive development of territories. The main information source of the study was the scientometric database Scopus, the largest database of peer-reviewed literature, according to the keywords "competitive advantage", "territory", "region". The selection of scientific literature consisted of 566 documents. The study period of published documents is from 1990 to 2023. The countries with the largest number of publications in terms of specific universities, as well as the most cited publications in the specified direction, were determined. According to the results of the analysis of scientific literature, it was established that there is a clear relationship between the development of territories and its competitiveness, since ensuring competitiveness is one of the main goals of this process.
