MECHANISMS OF INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT FOR FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES IN UKRAINE
Abstract
At this stage, many Ukrainian agricultural companies take an active part in foreign economic activity, which is an important part of market relations. However, the consequences of a full-scale invasion, the lack of domestic enterprises' experience of working in foreign markets, international support determine the urgency of finding ways to improve the foreign economic activity of enterprises. The effective foreign economic activity of the enterprise contributes to the restoration of the country's export potential, increases the competitiveness of Ukrainian goods on the world market, forms a strong structure of import and export, attracts foreign investments and ensures the economic security of Ukraine. It is important to clarify the strategic direction of development, to improve export activities and to improve the quality of manufactured products, which will allow domestic enterprises to gain a long-term competitive advantage. A possible improvement in the implementation of foreign economic activity of agrarian enterprises is connected with the provision of support for international programs. It is noted that the priority direction of Ukraine's commodity exports is crop production, as our country is one of those with the best geographical and climatic conditions, which have potential for the agricultural sector. The article analyzes the state of the agricultural sector, the capacity of grain storage facilities in the regions of Ukraine, the dynamics of exports of grain and leguminous crops and flour from Ukraine during the 2022/2023 FY and 2023/2024 FY based on analytical data. According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, appropriate conclusions were made regarding the volumes of the formed export of grain crops in 2023. The work highlights the leading regions in grain storage, one of the key regions in terms of the level of grain storage infrastructure development. Taking into account the possible options of international support programs, the grant that is most suitable for the further development and improvement of the foreign economic activity of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises has been determined. The opportunities presented and the list of documents for submitting an application for financing are clarified.
