FEATURES OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF THE ENTERPRISE
Abstract
The article reveals the modern features of strategic management of the enterprise, taking into account changes in the external environment. The problems of strategic management of the enterprise are investigated. The main stages of strategic management of the enterprise, as well as modern methods of substantiation of enterprise strategy are considered. It is established that the strategic management of the enterprise contributes to its success in the market, as well as skillful adaptation to turbulent environmental conditions, which is relevant today, when the pandemic COVID-19 and impose various restrictions on enterprises. An important aspect of successful strategic management of the enterprise is the ability to apply different arsenal of methods to determine the appropriate strategy of the enterprise. The basis of strategic management of the enterprise is to analyze the external and internal environment. The standardized process of strategic management consists of six interrelated stages, namely: analysis and evaluation of the external and internal environment of the enterprise, formation of the mission and goals of the enterprise, selection of appropriate enterprise development strategy, development of a set of measures to achieve the mission and goals. enterprise development strategy, as well as evaluation and control of the implementation of the selected enterprise development strategy. Strategic management in enterprises belongs to the competence of senior management of the enterprise. Because as a result of strategic management the mission and goals of the enterprise, key areas of work are determined, the production program is formed, etc. Effective strategic management requires certain skills, senior management qualifications and the ability to anticipate possible changes in the internal environment. The analysis showed that today strategic management prevails over the current one. If companies want to succeed in today's competition, they should move to strategic management. Without a focus on strategic management, companies are deprived of the ability to respond quickly to today's challenges and achieve global goals.
