THE COMPETENCE APPROACH AS THE BASIS OF THE DUAL FORM OF ACQUISITION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES IN THE HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract

Peculiarities of the organization of scientific research activity of higher education applicants were studied, taking into account the ideas and provisions of the competence approach in the organization of the dual form of acquiring professional competences. The innovativeness of higher education institution management is determined by new conditions and requirements for educational activities from the state, society, and the labor market. In this regard, the complexity of managing educational activities increases, as the number of connections between the higher education institution and the sphere of production increases; there is a growing need to orientate as much as possible to the current and perspective needs of the labor market; new management functions arise in connection with the use of a dual education system. It should be noted that it is the competence approach that emphasizes attention on the result of the dual form of obtaining education, the ability of a graduate of a higher education institution to act in various problem situations related to both professional activity and life self-determination. The purpose of the article is to find out and characterize the peculiarities of the organization of scientific and research activities of higher education applicants, taking into account the ideas and provisions of the competence approach when organizing the dual form of acquiring professional competencies. It was determined that the competence approach, which focuses on the result of dual education, the ability of a graduate of a higher education institution to act in various problem situations related to both professional activity and self-determination in life. It has been proven that the activation of research activity of higher education students in higher education institutions is designed to provide competent help and support the initiative of higher education students in determining their research interests and finding the optimal field for research self-realization, building the relationship of research activities with future professional field. It has been proven that every year the number of higher education seekers who tend to organize their activities, choose standard ways and methods of writing competitive papers, search for and use the information necessary for effective performance of this type of activity, professional and personal development is increasing.
