STUDY OF METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO ASSESSING THE INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract

This article contains a generalization of the existing approaches to the methodology of assessing the investment attractiveness of enterprises of the agro-industrial complex. The author identified the factors affecting the increase in the investment attractiveness of the agricultural industry of Ukraine. The purpose of writing this article is the study and generalization of modern conceptual approaches to the methodology of assessing the investment attractiveness of the country's agrarian sector. It was established that the investment attractiveness of agribusiness enterprises is at a low level. There is an urgent need to modernize the management of investment activities of enterprises in order to improve the condition and attract capital to the investment process. A number of positive and negative factors affecting the investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector were analysed and determined. Analysis of investment attractiveness makes it possible to identify weaknesses in the company's activities and propose measures to eliminate them and create conditions for attracting investment resources, which is a basis for investors to make decisions about capital investment. The existing methods for assessing the investment attractiveness of enterprises have been analysed, which can be conditionally divided into the following groups: expert point assessments; econometric estimates of the sum of rank (ordinal) places (often with the use of different weighting coefficients of the importance of private indicators or weighting points); econometric assessments of statistical indicators. Each of the applied methods has its own advantages and disadvantages, but all of them do not take into account the factors of the natural and geographical potential of the region, the general level of crime in the region, the level of environmental pollution and discomfort of the climate, the political component of the potential as opposed to foreign investors. Particular attention is paid to the state and overview of the primary problems of the development of agriculture and the agro-industrial complex against the background of military operations in Ukraine.
