USE OF MASSIVE ONLINE EDUCATIONAL COURSES AS AN ELEMENT OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT: PROSPECTS FOR UKRAINE
Abstract
The rapid development of digital technologies has led to significant changes in the global educational landscape, where the emergence of massive online educational courses (MOECs) has played a key role. This article explores the potential of using MOECs as a means of facilitating the innovative development in the context of Ukraine. In recent years, Ukraine has shown a growing interest in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. However, the challenge is to effectively bridge the gap between innovative ideas and their successful innovative development. MOECs have gained popularity as a versatile tool for the dissemination of knowledge, offering the advantage of reaching a wide and diverse audience. This article examines the viability of integrating MOECs into the innovative development process and analyzes their potential benefits. The article examines the modern innovation landscape in Ukraine and highlights the obstacles that innovators often face when bringing their ideas to market. In addition, the article also examines potential challenges associated with implementing MOECs in the Ukrainian context, including digital infrastructure limitations, adaptation issues, and the need for targeted content. The authors propose strategies to overcome these challenges, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between universities, research institutions, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders. The authors explore how MOECs can be effectively used to facilitate the transition from innovative concepts to market-ready products or services in Ukraine. By examining the potential benefits, challenges and strategies associated with using MOEC to innovative development, the study provides valuable information to academics, policymakers, educators and stakeholders interested in strengthening Ukraine's innovation landscape through the integration of digital educational platforms. In conclusion, this article emphasizes the transformative potential of integrating MOECs into the innovative ecosystem of Ukraine. By democratizing access to education and knowledge, MOECs can empower a new generation of innovators and entrepreneurs, thus fostering a culture of innovation and fueling economic growth. The obtained results contribute to the debate on the innovative development and offer ideas for policymakers, educators and stakeholders interested in advancing Ukraine's innovation agenda through digital educational platforms.
