ENSURING SUSTAINABILITY AND INCLUSIVENESS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES IN THE POST-WAR PERIOD
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to justify the main directions of achievement of sustainable and inclusive development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the post-war period. SMEs are a significant source of creation and maintenance of jobs, innovations, economic growth and social stability in Ukraine. That is why the restoration and support of the SME sectors is the basis of stabilization and a critical task for reviving the economy and ensuring sustainable and inclusive development for the future of Ukraine. In the course of the study, a number of general scientific and special methods were used, in particular: system-structural analysis and synthesis as the main methodological tool (in the analysis of directions of sustainable and inclusive development of SMEs); extrapolation (with substantiation of strategic directions and opportunities to enhance the sustainability and inclusivity of SMEs development in the post-war period). The main tasks of sustainable and inclusive development of SMEs during post-war recovery are outlined. It has been noted the potential for the use of modern digital technologies to ensure the increase in sustainability and inclusivity of SMEs. It has been shown that effective models of ensuring sustainable and inclusive functioning of SMEs are the development of social, innovative, environmental and women's entrepreneurship. Prospective measures of systematic state strategic policy are described, which will contribute to the restoration of the national economy in the post-war period. This includes the creation of a favorable business environment, stimulating consumer demand, various forms of assistance from SMEs to create new jobs, support education and financial literacy, facilitating the return of labor resources, restoration and development of critical infrastructure, etc. The practical importance of the results obtained is that the proposed recommendations for ensuring the sustainability and inclusivity of SME development will contribute to the decision-making on its support at the state and regional levels and the effective restoration of Ukraine's economy in the post-war period.
