The study aims to understand the impact of the conflict on women's lives, their needs, and experiences. Through a structured survey conducted among internally displaced women in various regions of Ukraine, data was collected regarding their socio-economic situation, living conditions, access to basic services, education, and healthcare. The general characteristics of women in the survey, including age, education, availability of children, home settlement type and other indicators were analysed. The survey also explored the psychological well-being, the impact of the conflict on employment, and the threats faced by women in conflict zones. They often have to seek new places to live, lose access to basic services, and face economic instability. Many of them also experience psychological distress due to the stress and traumatic experiences of war. Analyzing the survey data, the article highlights the needs of this vulnerable group of women and recommends potential ways to improve their situation. It emphasizes the importance of ensuring access to employment, education, language course for internally displaced women. It also discusses the importance of integrating a gender perspective into policies and support programs aimed at addressing the issues faced by internally displaced individuals. Overall, the article provides valuable insights into the complex situation faced by internally displaced women in Ukraine due to the conflict. It contributes to raising awareness and understanding of these issues while emphasizing the need for concrete actions to support and improve their conditions. By addressing the specific challenges and needs of internally displaced women, it offers a platform for further discussion and advocacy towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for them.
