INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT OF THE FINANCIAL STATE OF ENTERPRISES USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
Intensive development of information technologies makes it possible to effectively use economic and mathematical models based on forecasting methods, multivariate statistical and data mining together with modern software. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodological approach to the integral assessment of the financial condition of enterprises using the method of multivariate statistical analysis. The generalization of theoretical and methodological developments on the integral assessment of the financial and economic activities of enterprises shows the absence of a single methodological approach to the development of a universal model and a system of index indicators that fully characterize the level of enterprises’ development. The paper presents a classification of existing methods for the integrated assessment of enterprises, based on the use of expert methods, multivariate statistical and data mining. It is noted that the development of information technology enhances the intensive introduction of intellectual analysis methods of searching internal relationships and patterns in large data sets. An assessment of the level of creditworthiness and financial condition of heat supply enterprises has been carried out using the existing models of the NBU and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. A scientific and methodological approach to the integral assessment of the financial condition of enterprises using the method of principal components has been proposed. The main tasks include the development of a model of an integral indicator of the enterprise's financial condition and the improvement of the information system for monitoring the financial and economic activities of an enterprise. The use of the model has made it possible to determine the position of each communal heat supply enterprise in the industry ranking. Further research involves improving the economic and mathematical model using Data Mining technologies, which will increase the number of indicators that reflect the influence of external and internal factors on the level of the enterprise's economic potential.
