UKRAINIAN-POLISH INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION AND EURO-ATLANTIC CHOICE
Abstract
The article highlights the problems of forming a strategic partnership between Ukraine and Poland in foreign policy issues. It has been proved that since the second half of the 90s, Ukrainian-Polish relations in the plane of foreign policy began to acquire signs of strategic partnership, that is, these were relations between states, aimed at a long-term nature. In the future, strategic partnership between the two countries should constantly strengthen interaction within the framework of permanent interstate mechanisms, further strengthening the legal framework of bilateral cooperation. Indeed, only in the political and military spheres it will be possible to talk about the establishment of relations of strategic partnership, although the dynamics and effectiveness of contacts between the executive authorities of the two countries require serious strengthening. It was found that the further development of strategic partnership relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Poland will take place against the background of serious geopolitical changes in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, which, in turn, will require both countries to analyze and put forward new tasks in the development of international relations. It was established, thus, was assigned unexplained information in the field of international politics in Ukraine and the Republic of Poland, allegedly poured over the objective needs and national interests of concepts in mutual images. It was reported that a message was received from the Ukrainian-Polish business analytics outside the framework of bilateral political relations, that the geopolitical situation of the state was determined by the one for them called political secret before integration. It was found that among the most important foundations of the institutional support of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation in international relations, an important role, along with personal contacts between statesmen and politicians of the two countries, was played by institutional mechanisms, such as the Consultative Committee of the Presidents of Poland and Ukraine – at the level of the presidents of the two countries.
