THE VIABILITY OF CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article examines the consequences of armed aggression in Ukraine: Loss of production capacity, significant area of agricultural land, destruction of infrastructure, reduction of labor force. There remains a significant threat of further price growth and hryvnia devaluation. The role of construction enterprises in the infrastructure provision of national economy, support of the defense capacity of the country and in the reconstruction and reconstruction of the economy, which determines the priority of preservation of their viability, has been studied. To maximize the potential of the construction industry, it is necessary that construction is based on building materials of domestic production. However, broken relations between the regions, complete or partial termination of the activity of enterprises, lack of construction experts and workers through emigration of citizens abroad, and a shortage of building materials slows the recovery, leads to logistical disruptions and creates especially difficult conditions for the further functioning of business. The results of sociological surveys on factors of influence on business in Ukraine are analyzed. The essence of the term "survival potential" in relation to the company's activity in an emergency situation is considered. It is noted that the enterprise’s ability to survive is formed as a result of external, internal and inherited steel. It has been established that the main factor of viability in modern conditions is the achievement of internal stability, which is realized through "management on the principle of feedback", by active response to changes in external and internal factors of the environment. Management problems that hinder the implementation of the program of ensuring the sustainability of the enterprise are identified. The main priorities of the state support of the enterprises' viability in modern conditions are grounded. Key challenges have been identified that make it difficult to implement economic regeneration programs. It is noted that the potential of the enterprise survival is a general concept that can be used to predict the future of the enterprise’s viability and its ability to overcome the crisis.
