THE THEORETICAL BACKGROUNDS OF BUSINESS ENTITIES DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the theoretical backgrounds of business entities digital transformation. It was determined, that digital transformation is a special reform, that must be consciously agreed between the owner, top-management and stakeholders of the business entity for its complete renewal and transition to the digital level due to using digital technologies, which will radically effect on flexibility and effectiveness of business processes. The key directions and model of the business entity digital transformation are considered, regardless of its form of ownership. The stages of business entity digital transformation with the help of corporate innovation technology «robotic process automation» (RPA) implementation are practically covered. It is proven, that with starting of digital transformation process, business entity must create an appropriate digital infrastructure and pass stages of the digital maturity, which consist in: digitization, automation and digitalization. With digital technologies now underpinning all aspects of socioeconomic policy planning and implementation processes, many government and business services are digital by default, thus highlighting the urgent need to develop new development paradigms, policy and regulatory frameworks in a more flexible, adaptive and corroborative way. The key field for further research should be founded on the investigation of commodities/services digitalization and integration of digital technologies in business processes. Industry 4:0 technologies represents a new paradigm, reweaving the whole fabric of society, in terms of value creation, management, use and distribution through applications of disruptive technologies, including artificial intelligence, internet of things, digital data, connectivity and global networks. Digital transformation is reshaping both social interactions and national economies. In digital paradigm, people are not just consumers of products and services but also, through their social networks, creating value and developing previously unheard-of products and services.
